NCEE Code of Ethics

We, the members of the NCEE, pledge ourselves to the highest professional ideals in our relations with schools and educators and will observe the following standards of practice:

  1. Strive to create confidence in our organization by the quality of the product or service we render.
  2. Avoid all questionable or unfair competitive methods.
  3. Refrain from promising services we cannot provide.
  4. Conduct our sales promotions, advertising, and business relations on a fair and honorable basis.
  5. Refrain from contacting prospects in the aisles or in other exhibitors’ booths.
  6. Confine all demonstrations and selling to our respective booths and not allow such activities to interfere with other exhibitors’ spaces.
  7. Respect all rules and regulations of the convention, especially those relating to the hours established for setting up and tearing down.
  8. Give no articles or gratuities with the intent of prejudicing the recipient. Promote a frank exchange of ideas involving mutual interest, and maintain friendly relations at all times with fellow members of this association.

NCEE Objectives

National Catholic Educational Exhibitors strives for the following objectives:

  • advancing the interests of its members, coordinating solutions to problems affecting school services, and promoting service to Catholic educators
  • gathering and disseminating information affecting educational marketing, product development, and funding programs
  • promoting sound public relations and developing and maintaining ethical trade relations
  • cooperating with responsible groups for the welfare of the market and of the Catholic schools which the market serves
  • encouraging the development of new products and services to keep pace with educational progress
  • dedicating itself to its motto: “Service to Catholic Education”
